DAY 01 — HOUSTON/FRANKFURT
DAY 02 — Rome: Mass at St Paul Outside the Walls Church
Arrive in Frankfurt then change planes to Rome. Upon
arrival, you will be met by your tour guide and have a tour
of Rome to include: St. Paul’s Church outside the Walls, and
the ancient catacombs where early Christians were buried,
and the Trevi Fountain. Then you will be transferred to your
hotel for dinner and overnight in Rome.

DAY 03 — Mass at St Mary Major
ROME/PAPAL AUDIENCE: This morning, attend the Papal Audience if the Holy Father
is in Rome. Then you will have a tour of Basilicas of St. Mary
Major and St. John Lateran (Cathedral of Rome), and the Holy
Cross in Jerusalem. This basilica was consecrated around 325
to house the Passion Relics brought to Rome from the Holy
Land by St. Helena of Constantinople, mother of the Roman
Emperor Constantine. At that time, the basilica floor was
covered with soil from Jerusalem, thus acquiring the title in
Jerusalem. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight in

DAY 04 — Mass at St Peter’s Basilica
ROME: Visit Vatican City, including St. Peter’s Basilica, largest church
in the world, the Vatican museum with its halls of paintings,
tapestries, and statuary, and the breathtaking Sistine Chapel.
See the Mamertine Prison, where Paul was imprisoned,
view the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, and the St. Peter
in Chains Church, containing Michaelangelo’s masterpiece,
the Statue of Moses. Enjoy a visit to Trevi Fountain before
returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 05 — Mass at St Francis of Assisi Basilica
ASSISI: Morning departure to Assisi where we will visit St. Francis
Basilica; where we will have Mass, and see the Chapel of St.
Catherine. Tour of Assisi to include St. Francis Chapel, the
Rose Garden, Francis Cave, and the chapel of Francis death.
See the Tomb of St. Francis, then visit St. Claire’s Church
where her body lies intact and where the famous St. Damiano
Crucifix; who spoke to St. Francis is located. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

DAY 06 — Mass at Mt Carmel
ROME / TEL AVIV / MT CARMEL / STELLA MARIS / CAESAREA / TIBERIAS
This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Tel
Aviv. Upon arrival you will be met and we travel via the coast
to Caesarea, where the Romans held Paul prisoner. Visit the
Roman and Crusader ruins and continue onto Stella Maris,
a Carmelite Monastery with the Madonna of Mt. Carmel.

DAY 07 — Mass at Mt Beatitudes
THE MINISTRY OF CHRIST IN GALILEE: TIBERIAS / BOAT RIDE ON SEA OF GALILEE/ CAPERNAUM/ MT BEATITUDES
Some of today’s highlights are a boat ride across the Sea of
Galilee, Capernaum to see the synagogue and St. Peter’s
house, the Mount of the Beatitudes where the Sermon on the
Mount was given and have Mass, and onto Tabgha to see the
splendid mosaic about the miracle of the loaves and fishes,
and the nearby Church of Peter’s Primacy where Peter was
told “Feed my lambs, feed my sheep.” Dinner and overnight
at your hotel in Tiberias.

DAY 08 — Mass at the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth
JERUSALEM / CANA / NAZARETH / MT. TABOR / JERUSALEM
We start the day with a visit to Cana, the village of Jesus’
first miracle of changing water into wine; here couples
may renew their wedding vows. Continue to the Basilica
of Annunciation in Nazareth and visit Mary’s Well and the
Church of the Angel Gabriel and have Mass. Continue to
Mount Tabor, scene of the Transfiguration. Afterwards drive
through the Jordan Valley and then up through the Judean
hills to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in

DAY 09 — Mass at the Church of Nativity
JERUSALEM / HOLY CITY /BETHLEHEM / CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY / CHURCH OF VISITATION/
BETHLEHEM UNIVERSITY / SHEPHERD’S FIELDS
On the first day in Jerusalem we head to the village of Ein Karem,
the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and to the
Church of Visitation where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited
her cousin, Elizabeth, and proclaimed the ‘Magnificat’.
Continue to Bethlehem to visit the University, the only
Catholic University in the Holy Land, which is supported by
the Order. In the afternoon, we drive to the Shepherd’s Fields
where the angels announced the birth of Jesus.
Then we visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem that stands upon
the site where Jesus was born and celebrate mass at the
Nativity. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 10 — Mass at Mt Tabor
THE WILDERNESS: BETHANY / JERICHO / MT TEMPTATION / DEAD SEA
Drive to Mt. Tabor, site of the Transfiguration, where
we will have Mass. The desert east of Jerusalem is rich
in Christian tradition. Further east, just off the Roman
road that Jesus walked, is Wadi Qelt gorge, site of the
Monastery of St. George. At the oasis town of Jericho,
visit the excavations of the oldest city in the world
and view Mt. Temptation where Jesus fasted and was
tempted by Satan. On the way back there is time for
a swim (or rather a float!) in the mineral-rich waters
of the Dead Sea, renowned for its healing properties.

DAY 11 — Mass at the Cenacle
JERUSALEM, THE PASSION OF JESUS’ LAST HOURS: MT. OLIVES/PALM SUNDAY/
DOMINUS FLEVIT/ GETHSEMANE/ CAVE OF BETRAYAL/ CAVE OF ASSUMPTION/ PATER NOSTER/
UPPER ROOM/ ST. PETER IN GALLICANTU
We begin our day on the Mt. of Olives to walk the Palm
Sunday route stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus
wept over Jerusalem. Drive to Gethsemane, the Rock of
Agony where Jesus prayed His last prayer before his arrest,
to have Mass. Visit the cave of betrayal then the cave of the
Assumption of Mary to heaven. Back on the Mt. of Olives
we visit the Pater Noster with the Lord’s Prayer in many
languages. Drive through the Kidron Valley to St. Peter in
Gallicantu where Peter denied Him thrice. At the Cenacle,
we visit the Upper Room of the Last Supper. We finish the
day at Dormition Abbey where we believe the Blessed Mary
died. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Jerusalem.

DAY 12 — Solemn High Mass at Holy Sepulchre
STATIONS OF THE CROSS / CHURCH OF THE HOLY SEPULCHRE / LATIN PATRIARCH / ST ANNES / WAILING WALL
We begin to retrace the last steps of Jesus as we walk along
the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrow), through the markets of
the Old City praying the Stations of the Cross, we reflect
on the greatness of His sacrifice. Celebrate Solemn High
Mass at the Holy Tomb. After breakfast, at our hotel we
visit the Latin Patriarch and participate in the Pilgrim Shell
Ceremony. Visit St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin
Mary and her parents Saints Joachim and Anne. We pass the
Ecce Homo where Pilate proclaimed “Behold the man”; then
the Wailing Wall, the most holy place for Jews.
Nearby is the Dome of the Rock and the Haram al Sharif or Temple Mount.

This morning, transfer to the airport and fly to Houston.
